Scott splits his time between the boardroom and in the trenches. In addition to being an entrepreneur, he is a recognized expert in corporate governance and risk management. He and his work have been featured in the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Institutional Investor and a number of industry publications.

After starting his career at Accenture, Scott co-founded and invested in several high tech companies. At Learning Productions, his first startup which was acquired by SkillSoft in 2000, he led a global team of 200 people including an award-winning development center in Arizona.

Scott continues to be involved in advanced technology and was awarded patents for his innovative approach for developing business simulations and war games.

Scott is an author, entrepreneur and recognized expert in Community, Microsoft C#, and Cloud Computing. In 2010 was honored by Microsoft as a Regional Director, a program Microsoft uses to solicit worldwide feedback from a small group of hand-picked experts.
